Dr Adewole Oludenlade Adesanya is a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Lokoja, Kogi-State. Dr Adesanya graduated over two decades ago from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye (formerly Ogun State University) with the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. He thereafter had his post-graduate residency training at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin-city, Edo-State and bagged the Fellowship of the National Post- graduate Medical College of Nigeria in Internal Medicine with Sub-specialisation in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in 2010. Dr Adesanya was at the University of Manchester, UK where he completed an Advanced Diploma in Occupational Medicine degree with Merit grade in 2012. He recently bagged Master of Public Health (Global health) with distinction grade at the same University in 2024. On graduation from medical school, Dr Adesanya commenced his working career at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba Lagos where he did the mandatory one-year housemanship program. After his compulsory NYSC and few months in private practise, he worked at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital between 2005 till 2011.
